Research on connection between Technology, Design and Knowledge

Connecting Campuses

For the City of Eindhoven Red Bluejay has performed a research into the connections between the three campuses: High Tech Campus, TU/e University Campus and Strijp Design Campus. In the final report a clear view is documented on the status, the blocking factors and opportunities for the future.

 

The results of this research can be generically interpreted for multiple forms of cross-border collaboration. The report also offers a long-term view on how to embed the education tracks into the three key areas for future links.

Labour mobility among knowledge talent in the European Union

Labour Mobility

The Eindhoven region as a knowledge cluster in technology has great need for sufficient talent to come to the region. Red Bluejay has done research into the influences on the mobility of knowledge talent on a macro-, meso- and micro-level. The influences of country policies, the function of a knowledge cluster and organisational strategies are clearly stated in the report.

How to create an Open Innovation Campus?

Open Innovation Campus

For a worldwide telecom label Red Bluejay has been part of the strategy team on how to create an Open Innovation Campus to collaborate with industrial partners. The focus chosen was specifically the re-use of existing technology for new application domains.

 

Because the roots of Red Bluejay lie in the open innovation institute Holst Centre – the first open innovation institute to be set up on the High Tech Campus Eindhoven – our knowledge could be of assistance to raise the right topics.

Shared Talent Pool

Using Open Innovation principles in sharing talent among multiple parties

Shared Talent Pool

In collaboration with a number of parties from the food and pharma industries, we have created a concept for the dynamic exchange for knowledge talent. In this concept the principles of open innovation have been applied of shared risk and shared result between the parties.

 

What’s unique about this concept is that it is of great value for the talents within the pool because of the personal development opportunities. It offers security to the pool and a dynamic career. The concept is now ready for implementation.
